This site is dedicated to the memory of my Mum who lost her battle with cancer 3 July 2017
Back in 2000 I still remember vividly the call from my mother telling me she had pancreatic cancer - it was devastating news, and little did we know the journey would last 17 years. One of the first things she said after delivering that news was 'I don't want you to treat me like I'm dying'. Although that sounds simple it was far from it as every time you thought about her it was always associated with that horrible C word.
My mums journey began when she was 63 and from that moment she decided that 'it' was not going to get her. I thought she had incredible strength, but actually, it was an amazing belief, a belief that always said she would win. Now the survival rates for this, without what is called a Whipple operation, is that 10% will live 5 years. Without the Whipple operations 7% will live 5 years. So she lived 17 years. She refused Chemotherapy however she was prescribed lots of drugs and we paid for 2 treatments of selective internal radiation therapy (SIRT) when the cancer progressed to the liver.
I have learnt so much because of her journey that I felt I must at least share the studies, success stories and how everything in our world is one big cocktail of chemicals. I believe that it is this cocktail of chemicals that has led to staggering increase in cancer rates and many other diseases however I'm no medical expert so I will provide the information and let you decide.
There is documentary series called "The truth About Cancer - A Global Quest" which is a 9 part documentary with interviews with many qualified and credible people in the medical & research fields.
This documentary, while targeted towards cancer, covers a wide range of topics from what is in your food, your water, vaccinations and many other things that surround us every day. With Cancer rates now at 1 in 2 in the USA the chances are pretty high that you could get cancer and I have seen this within my own family and my husbands family.
This series was a life changing documentary for me and started my journey into all area's of health, prompting a change to organic food and a healthier diet. During this journey I discovered Don and Tyler Tolman - mentioned in the truth about cancer series.
There is more and more research available supporting the use of food to heal the body such as the documentary "Fat, Sick & Nearly Dead" that follows one man's journey to regain his health and monitored weekly by his doctor, with remarkable results using food only.
With fasting I have personally resolved aching knees, ankles, consistently sore hip and shoulder that forced me to give up my karate. I have not taken one drug to help my healing - instead, I have used food only. My husband has also had his tennis elbow pain reversed.
I have come to understand that the body has an amazing ability to heal however the toxins that surround us every day overwhelm the bodies ability to heal. There is a huge number of studies around about healing naturally and my wish is that many will benefit from the things I have learnt and by the resources shared on this site. Had we have known about all the wonderful non toxic therapies out there maybe she would still be here. With this information you can make informed decisions. Remember though, the resources here are for your information only, it is up to each individual to decide if it is right for them.
